CCC Installs 15,000th Pathways(R) Collision Estimating System
Advanced Windows(TM)-Based Workflow Design System Popular Among Insurers and
                             Collision Repairers

CHICAGO, April 8 -- CCC Information Services Inc.
, the leading provider of solutions to the automotive claims
industry, announced today that it has installed the 15,000th Pathways
Collision Estimating System. The site of the milestone 15,000th installation
was Kendrick Paint & Body, which is upgrading to Pathways from CCC's EZEst
collision estimating software. Based in Augusta, Ga., Kendrick is one of the
nation's largest single-location collision repair operations.
Pathways Collision Estimating is state-of-the-art Windows(TM)-based
software providing up-to-date pricing, interactive decision support and
automated forms to streamline the repair process and speed claim settlement.
The software is Year 2000-compliant.
"We are in the process of upgrading all of our systems to the latest
Y2K-compliant technology including Pathways Collision Estimating and Pathways
Enterprise Solution," said Denny Crowe of Kendrick's. "I was just trained,
and I am already producing estimates as fast or faster than with EZEst."
"Our entire suite of Pathways products have a workflow-based design, which
benefits both insurers and collision repairers because it improves
productivity," said Jack Rozint, senior vice president for CCC. "Data is
seamlessly integrated and the information needed to make decisions is routed
to the right person at the right time. This workflow management means greater
efficiency and productivity for insurers and repairers and, ultimately, better
service to the consumer that has been involved in an auto accident. Upon
completion of our client upgrades, we will have well over 22,000 Pathways
Collision Estimating installations on the industry's largest claims settlement
network."
