Federal-Mogul Honored With Auto Value Awards

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 8 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation
, has been honored by Auto Value with the awards of Outstanding
Installer Promotion, and Outstanding Manpower Support.
    "It is gratifying when our efforts in developing and implementing
promotions are recognized by a key customer," said E.J. O'Leary, vice

throughout the year of 1998.  The Outstanding Manpower Support award was
presented to Federal-Mogul's Moog, Wagner Brake, Champion, Anco, PowerPath and
Wagner Lighting divisions.  This award recognizes outstanding manpower support
at the group headquarters, warehouse distributor, jobber and installer level.
