1999 ADP Industry Conference Plays to Packed Audience in San Diego

SAN RAMON, Calif.--April 7, 1999--Against the backdrop of sunshine and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, the 1999 ADP Industry Conference provided more than 300 attendees from the automotive insurance and collision repair industries with a peek into the new millennium.
The conference, "The Waves of Innovations," took place from March 24-27 at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego. It was organized and sponsored once again this year by ADP Claims Solutions Group (CSG), a leading provider of information services for property and casualty insurance claims management.
"This year's conference really focused attention on the innovative technologies that are reshaping our industry as we move to the 21st century," said John Barfin, president of ADP CSG.
"With the development of Claimsflo, our new suite of applications for insurance claims management, and Stellix, a leading-edge system that sets new standards for productivity and profit in collision repair, ADP CSG is leading this innovation charge."
Keynote speakers for the conference included Dee Dee Myers, former White House press secretary and political editor for Vanity Fair; Dr. James Canton, a renowned futurist and author; and Richard Pimentel, a nationally recognized expert on disability management and workers' compensation cost containment.
The conference was attended by more than 300 professionals from the automotive insurance, collision repair, after-market parts, salvage and the medical insurance industries. It is the 15th year ADP CSG has hosted such an industry conference.
