Noble International, Ltd. Announces GM Supplier of the Year Award

    BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., April 7 --  Noble International,
Ltd. ("Noble") (Amex: NIL) announced today that its subsidiary, Tiercon
Plastics Inc. ("Tiercon Plastics"), of Stoney Creek, Ontario, has been
selected as a General Motors Supplier of the Year 1998 for Body
Side Moldings.  Tiercon Plastics' selection marks the third consecutive year
that it has won the prestigious award, and is one of only 26 suppliers who
have won three consecutive times.
    "GM's Supplier of the Year represents the 'best of the best'," said Harold
R. Kutner, vice president and group executive, Worldwide Purchasing and North
American Production Control & Logistics.  "Of GM's 30,000 suppliers, Tiercon
Plastics is one of only 184 that have achieved world-class levels of quality,
service, technology and price in support of General Motors," he said.
    Tiercon Plastics, which  is part of the Tiercon Industries Inc. group of
companies owned by Noble, is a premier supplier to GM's Chemical commodity
group of Worldwide Purchasing," said Robert E. Socia, executive director,
Worldwide Purchasing, Chemical.  "The 1998 Supplier of the Year award
recognizes Tiercon for its body side moldings," he said.
