Hyundai to Launch the E-Commerce Auto Parts Site

6 April 1999

Hyundai Invites You to Join the Launch Of the First E-Commerce Auto Parts Site From U.S. Auto Maker
DETROIT, April 5 -- In conjunction with the launch of Hyundai
Parts Online, you are invited to join the audio and slideshow event that will
be broadcast live over the Internet on Wednesday, April 7 at 10:30 a.m.
Eastern. Guests include Frank Ferrara, Vice President of Parts, Hyundai Motor
America and Click Interactive President, Michael Ferro.

WHAT: Launch of Hyundai Parts Online, the first and only Internet E-
commerce system from any automaker in the U.S. that will offer for sale to
individual consumers every part for every Hyundai auto ever sold in the
American market.

    WHEN: Wednesday, April 7; 10:30 a.m. Eastern

    WHERE: http://www.videonewswire.com/HYUNDAI/040799,
            http://www.hyundaiusa.com, or http://www.clickinteractive.com.

HOW: Live over the Internet -- Simply log on to the web at the address
          above

WHY: No auto maker doing business in the United States currently has the
capability to allow individual consumers to order any part for any car it has
ever made. Hyundai Motor America becomes the first auto company in the U.S.
and, possibly, the world to make such a system available. Owners will be able
to order anything from a connection rod bearing to a windshield wiper with a
few mouse clicks.
Consumers will have access to all of Hyundai Motor America's parts catalogs
and using a simple point-and-click interface will be able to order any part
for their car. Once the part is ordered it can be picked up at a
participating Hyundai dealership or mailed to a customer. For independent
service garages, a parts delivery system can be arranged with a participating
dealer.
