Lund International Holdings, Inc. Announces Resignation of Ronald C. Fox as Chief Financial Officer

    ANOKA, Minn., April 5 -- Lund International Holdings, Inc.
announced today that Ronald C. Fox, Chief Financial Officer,
has indicated that he will be leaving the Company in the near term in order to
return to the Colorado area to be with his family. Mr. Fox will assist the
Company in finding a successor for his position.
    "Since his appointment as CFO, Ron has made tremendous contributions to
our Company. He has been a driving force behind the integration of Lund
Industries and Deflecta-Shield, and played a major role in developing our
turnaround plan. In addition, Ron was instrumental in completing the
acquisitions of Ventshade Holdings, Inc. and Smittybilt, Inc. earlier this
year," stated Dennis Vollmershausen, President and Chief Executive Officer.
    Prior to joining Lund in March of 1998, Mr. Fox was Chief Financial
Officer of Deflecta-Shield Corporation, a subsidiary of the Company, and
resided in Colorado.
