Infiniti Reports Best March Ever With Sales Increase Of 30.9 Percent; - G20 Boasts Best Sales Month Ever Since Re-launch -
CARSON, Calif., April 1 -- Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA), posted a record March with sales of 7,560
units, a 30.9 percent increase over last year. Infiniti closed its fiscal
year with total sales of 67,208 units, a 7.3 percent increase over last year.
The G20, Infiniti's luxury sports sedan, posted its best month ever since
the re-launch of the new model with sales of 2,342 units, an increase of 26.0
percent versus last month.
As the volume sales leader, the Infiniti I30 reported sales of 2,811
units. Total QX4 sales for March were 1,927 units, an increase of 16.3
percent versus last year.
The Q45, Infiniti's flagship luxury performance sedan, posted March sales
of 474 units.
Nissan North America, Inc. sales for March, including Nissan and Infiniti
Divisions, totaled 56,367 units, a 4.0 percent increase over last year.
