Milberg Weiss Announces Class Action Against Smart Choice Automotive, Inc.

    NEW YORK, April 1 -- Notice is hereby given that a class
action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Middle
District of Florida on behalf of all persons who purchased the common stock of
Smart Choice Automotive, Inc. ("Smart Choice" or the
"Company"), between April 15, 1998 and February 26, 1999, inclusive.
    If you are a member of the class described above, you may, not later than
sixty days from March 2, 1999 move the Court to serve as lead plaintiff of the
class, if you so choose.  In order to serve as lead plaintiff, however, you
must meet certain legal requirements.
    The complaint alleges that defendants issued a series of materially false
and misleading statements concerning the Company's revenues and results of
operations.
