Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Appointments, Sales and Application Engineering, Sealing SystemsSOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 1 -- Mike Fisher, vice president, sales and application engineering, Sealing Systems, Federal-Mogul Corporation announces the following organizational changes for sales and application engineering, Sealing Systems, effective immediately: * Dave Kinsel, sales manager, General Motors * Markus Wermers, business manager, Ford and General Motors "Both Markus and Dave bring with them a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding the automotive industry and specifically, the General Motors organization," said Fisher. "Dave has been very instrumental in acquiring significant amounts of GM business -- most recently the "Gen III" engine. Markus not only brings his knowledge of the North American marketplace, but his understanding of General Motors' worldwide business as well. I am confident that this team will continue the successes that we have gained at General Motors." Dave Kinsel, Sales Manager, Sealing Systems Dave Kinsel has been appointed sales manager, Sealing Systems. In this new position, Kinsel will assume supervisory responsibility for the General Motors account managers, in addition to his current functions. Kinsel will report to Markus Wermers, business manager, Sealing Systems. Kinsel joined Federal-Mogul in 1986 and has held a variety of automotive and heavy-duty sales and engineering positions at the Southfield, Michigan, World Headquarters and the Indianapolis, Indiana, sales office. Prior to this appointment, Kinsel was account manager with responsibility for the General Motors engine operations account. Kinsel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Ohio University. Markus Wermers, Business Manager, Ford and General Motors Markus Wermers has been appointed business manager, Ford and General Motors. With this appointment, Wermers will expand his current position and assume responsibility for the General Motors account in addition to his current Ford responsibilities. Wermers joined the T&N organization in 1991. He has held a variety of positions including project manager, Ford UK at Goetze AG, Burscheid and sales and marketing director, Automotive Sealing Product Group, Goetze Payen, Herdorf, and vice president, sales and marketing, McCord Payen, Inc., Allen Park, Michigan. His most recent appointment was Ford business manager, Sealing Systems operations. Wermers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Specialized University at Cologne.
