Detroit Pump Adds Veteran Automotive Paint Specialist
               Henry 'Hank' Koch brings 30 Years of Experience

    DETROIT, April 1 -- Paul Horvath, Vice President of Sales &
Marketing of Detroit Pump & Mfg. Co., has announced the appointment of Henry
"Hank" Koch to the position of automotive paint specialist.  This marks the
second major addition to the company's International Automotive Group in the
past six months.  Detroit Pump's automotive group assists customers with
specialized pump, paint and fluid handling applications.
    "Hank brings us over 30 years of automotive paint application experience
and will add considerable depth to our already experienced staff of automotive
applications specialists.  He will assist our customers in achieving efficient
and higher quality programs without sacrificing cost and maintenance
considerations," Horvath added.
    Before joining Detroit Pump, Koch was a Senior District Manager for GRACO
and held sales engineering, tech services and marketing positions with the
company.  He will work with Waukeshau and ARO pump automotive paint
applications.
    Koch is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and
serves on the Finishing & Sealant, Adhesive Group.  He is also active as an
automotive enthusiast and restores classic Ford Mustangs as a hobby.
