Lear Corporation Acquires Peregrine Windsor, Inc.
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 1 -- Lear Corporation
today announced that it has acquired certain assets of Peregrine Windsor,
Inc., the Windsor, Ontario, Canada seat and door trim operation owned by
Peregrine Incorporated of Southfield, Michigan.  Terms of the acquisition were
not released.
    The Peregrine Windsor plant produces just-in-time seat assemblies and door
panels for several General Motors models.  The acquisition of Peregrine
Windsor expands Lear's interior module business and is another example of
Lear's strong commitment to its customers.
