FinishMaster Inc. Announces Three Acquisitions

    INDIANAPOLIS--March 24, 1999--FinishMaster Inc. today announced it has made three acquisitions.
    The Company has acquired Pamler Distributing Inc. of South Chicago, Ill., and the Houston, Texas jobber operations of Spies Hecker Inc. In addition, the Company announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Monmouth Tool & Equipment Inc. of Pt. Pleasant, N.J.
    All three acquisitions will be consolidated into existing sales outlets, which will help accelerate growth in the respective markets and improve operating efficiencies and profitability.
