ASHA Corporation to Present ``4x4 Systems for the 21st Century'' at SAE TOPTEC Symposium

    SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--March 23, 1999--

Media are Invited to Test Drive
the Next Generation Of GERODISC(TM)

    ASHA Corporation/McLaren Engines, Inc. will be presenting a technical paper at the two-day Society of Automotive Engineers' TOPical, TEChnical symposium (TOPTEC) April 12-13, 1999 in South Bend, Indiana.
    The purpose of the two-day TOPTEC is to acquaint drivetrain and chassis engineers, from around the world, with a variety of current and future approaches to the challenge of activating all four wheels in powering a ground vehicle.
    The symposium will be presenting current and future innovations in four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive technology. The ASHA presentation will be delivered by Murat Okcuoglu, ASHA's Managing Director of Advanced Engineering. The paper is entitled "Rationalized 4x4 Systems for the 21st Century" and is scheduled for presentation the afternoon of Monday, April 12.
    ASHA, in addition to the presentation, will provide a display of its current and future drivetrain technologies for review by the engineering community in attendance.
    The media are invited the following day (Tuesday, April 13) to test drive the next generation of GERODISC(TM)-based all-wheel drive drivetrain systems. The by-invitation-only Ride-and-Drive will be held at the AM General Off-Road course in South Bend from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
