Frost & Sullivan Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence for Their Automotive Aftermarket Conference
NEW YORK, March 22 -- For 25 years top industry executives
have been coming together at Frost & Sullivan's automotive aftermarket
conferences to discuss what the future holds for the industry. The silver
anniversary of this event will be taking place July 12-15 at the Wyndham Hotel
in Chicago.
It is critical for management teams in the automotive aftermarket to take
advantage of the new business opportunities on the horizon. These
opportunities will occur quickly and will be seized by those companies most
informed about new developments and best prepared to redirect their resources.
The companies that will succeed in this dynamic new marketplace will be able
to proactively prepare for all possible challenges that can stand in the way
of revenue growth, increased market share, and improved profitability.
Economic opportunities in the automotive aftermarket are becoming
increasingly difficult to exploit. Those who wish to prosper in the emerging
environment need information. Frost & Sullivan's automotive aftermarket
conference will furnish you with the information you need to maintain a
competitive advantage.
The first day of the conference will offer a detailed overview of the
automotive afermarket, mostly as it relates to parts. This broad topic -- of
primary importance to manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and end
users -- will be addressed from multiple perspectives. Attendees will hear
from analysts, manufacturers, retailers, and software providers. Issues such
as brand equity and inventory management, obstacles faced by most aftermarket
competitors, provide both challenges and opportunities. The first day's format
has been designed with this strategy in mind to offer alternative ways to
position, promote, distribute, and manage aftermarket products.
The second day of the conference will begin with an overview of
environmental/regulatory issues that continue to affect the aftermarket,
augmented by peripheral discussions and dialog that highlights the growing
interactions between manufacturers and installers. Additional topics, meant to
illuminate the direction of the industry, will include discussions of NAFTA,
external markets, training, and the application of new technologies such as
the Internet.
Frost & Sullivan has also arranged a dinner meeting to allow key industry
participants the ability to meet their colleagues and discuss strategic and
competitive benchmarking issues with each other in an informal setting.
This year's seminar, "Growth in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry:
Utilizing the Market Engineering System to Accelerate Growth and Identify
Market Opportunities," will be meeting on July 12th. This seminar covers the
growth engineering system and how your company can utilize this system to
identify growth opportunities to keep growing faster than your competitors.
This event is currently sponsored by The Polk Company, Manugistics, and
Sales Logix. It's not too late for your company to become a sponsor as well.
Companies may also participate as exhibitors and gain access to customers and
prospects, raising their visibility in the marketplace. Space is limited and
will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
