Dollar Rent A Car and Europcar International Terminate Reservations Alliance

    TULSA, Okla., March 19 -- Europcar International, S.A. and
Dollar Rent A Car Systems, Inc. today announced that they will terminate their
reservation transfer agreement effective as of February 2000.  The interim
period will allow each of the companies to develop solutions more adapted to
their respective segments in leisure and business and their respective long-
term strategies.
    Until the end of their relationship, the parties will continue to
cooperate to maintain the best service to their transatlantic customers.
    Dollar Rent A Car Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive
