Pennzoil-Quaker State Announces Change to Board of DirectorsHOUSTON, March 15 -- Pennzoil-Quaker State Company announced today that Herbert M. Baum, vice chairman and a member of the Board of Directors, resigned those positions effective March 9, 1999. Mr. Baum is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Quaker State Corporation, which merged with Pennzoil Products Company in December 1998 to form Pennzoil-Quaker State Company. On January 5, 1999, Mr. Baum became president and chief operating officer of Hasbro, Inc. (Amex: HAS), headquartered in Pawtucket, RI. James L. Pate, chairman and chief executive officer of Pennzoil-Quaker State, said, "We greatly appreciate Herb Baum's contributions to the formation of our company, and we wish him well as he pursues his new responsibilities at Hasbro."
