Federal-Mogul Raises $34,500 Bowling for Big Brothers Big Sisters
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 12 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation's
strong participation in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan
Detroit Annual Bowl For Kids' Sake event raised over $34,500.
    As part of Federal-Mogul's corporate partnership with Big Brothers Big
Sisters, employee volunteers captained 33 teams of bowlers including 15
children from the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization on March 6, 1999 and
increased contributions 59% over 1998.
    Federal-Mogul's corporate partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters has
raised over $500,000 since 1997.  The monies raised are being used to increase
the number of mentor matches between children-at-risk and adult volunteers.
Bowl For Kids' Sake is the single largest fundraiser event for Big Brothers
Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit and continues through March 21, 1999.
