Titan Announces Dividend for First Quarter of 1999

    QUINCY, Ill., March 10 -- The Board of Directors of Titan
International, Inc. has approved a quarterly cash dividend of
$.015 (one and a half cents) per common share for the first quarter of 1999.
The dividend is payable April 15, 1999, to stockholders of record on March 31,
1999.
    Titan International, Inc. is a global manufacturer of mounted wheel and
tire systems for off-highway equipment used in agriculture, construction,
mining, military, recreation and grounds care.  Titan has worldwide
manufacturing and distribution facilities.
