Carey International Joins Global Events Partners as Allied Partner
    WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Carey International, Inc.
announced today that it has joined a 30-company partnership,
Global Events Partners ("GEP") of Washington D.C., as an allied partner in the
growing field of event planning and coordination.  GEP has assembled a
top-tier team to create "one stop shopping" for professionals in the
destination management and events coordination industry.  The newly created
GEP will provide high quality, reliable service and coordination of meetings
and events at locations around the world.
    As part of the agreement, Carey International will provide ground
transportation and chauffeured vehicle services for GEP at locations
worldwide.  In addition, the Carey name will be marketed as part  of a new
global brand in the event planning and coordination industry which will
increase exposure of the Carey name as GEP expands into Asia and other major
destination cities worldwide.
    Richard A. Anderson, Jr., Carey's Executive Vice President for Sales and
