SAE Congress Resumes at Cobo Center Today

    DETROIT, March 4 -- The SAE International Congress &
Exposition will resume all activities at 1 p.m., Thursday (today), March 4
after a morning delay due to a fire at Cobo Center in downtown Detroit.
    Doors at Cobo opened at noon to all exhibiting companies and technical
paper presenters, and all others will be admitted starting at 1 p.m.
    The SAE Congress Banquet will take place as scheduled at 7 p.m. in the
Riverview Ballroom, Cobo Center.
    The Cobo Center Parking Garage is now re-opened.  Move-out for exhibiting
companies will take place as originally scheduled.  Congress activities that
were canceled due to the fire will not be rescheduled at this time.  The SAE
Congress concludes this evening with the Annual Banquet.  The exhibit floor
closes at 6 p.m.
