Porsche's Strong U.S. Sales Continue For February With Twenty-Six Percent Increase

    ATLANTA, March 3 -- Porsche Cars North America, importer and
distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced sales
and stock figures for the month of February 1999. Boxster sales totaled
846 units for the month. The 19 percent reduction compared to February 1998
was due to limited supply. 911 Carrera sales continued to increase with
696 units. Overall monthly sales increased 26 percent over last month. Porsche
sales for the year have increased 45 percent over the same period in 1998.
