DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports International Sales For Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep(R) Brands

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 3 -- DaimlerChrysler
announced that total sales for the Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep(R) brands outside
of North America were down 25 percent for the month of February, with 11,790
units sold, compared to 15,743 units sold one year ago.
    Sales of those brands in Europe were 6,807, a 12 percent decrease over
sales of 7,717 units during the same month last year.  Other regions including
Latin America, with sales of 2,213 units sold, a 44 percent decrease from last
year, Asia/Pacific, with 1,980 units sold, a 35 percent decrease, and Middle
East/Africa, with 790 units sold, a 25 percent decrease.
