Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation Names Richard Knopke Region Vice President, Mid West RegionPARK RIDGE, N.J., March 3 -- The Hertz Corporation , the world's largest car rental company and a leading construction and industrial equipment rental business in the US, announces the appointment of Richard Knopke as Region Vice President, Mid-West Region, for Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC). Mr. Knopke, responsible for operations in North and South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas, will report to HERC Division Vice President, Field Operations, Joseph Dixon. He is located at Hertz Contractors Supply Midwest regional offices in Kansas City, MO. Previously, Knopke was President of Contractors Supply Company, with seven locations in Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. The company was acquired by HERC on September 1, 1998. "With more than 33 years of experience in the equipment rental industry, Knopke is a valuable asset to HERC operations." Knopke holds a bachelors degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. HERC, a subsidiary of Hertz, operates from more than 220 locations in North America and more than 45 locations in Europe.
