Land Rover Reports February 1999 SalesLANHAM, Md., March 2 -- Land Rover North America, Inc. today reported February 1999 sales of 2212 units, which represents Land Rover North America's best February ever. Charlie Hughes, president, Land Rover North America, said, "We are extremely pleased with our current sales rate. February 1999's sales figures represents a 72.3% increase over February '98 and our best February ever. With the continued strength of Range Rover, and as our all-new and award-winning Discovery Series II makes its presence further known in the marketplace, we are confident this sales trend will continue throughout 1999."
