Lexus Posts Best-Ever February Sales; RX 300 Success Continues

with best-ever February sales of 14,113, a 45 percent increase over the same
period last year. For the first two months of the 1999, sales are up
46.2 percent.
"We're never quite sure what to expect when a new year begins," said Bryan
Bergsteinsson, Lexus group vice president and general manager. "But sales for
Lexus remain strong in both the sedan and sport utility vehicle (SUV) segments
as consumers search for the best in luxury, quality and service. Our days
supply of 16 continues to be one of the lowest in the industry."

with 5,245 units sold, second only to record December sales of 5,667. The
LX 470 premium luxury SUV had a best-ever February with sales of 1,229, an
