Extended Systems Pairs with Cyberlogic Systems to Deliver Database Application to Mitsubishi Motors North America
BOISE, Idaho, March 1 -- Extended Systems Inc.
and Cyberlogic Systems, Inc. have partnered to deliver a sales floor
automation database application to more than 400 Mitsubishi Motors dealerships
across North America.
The application, a combination of Extended Systems' Advantage Database
Server and Cyberlogic's "DataVision" software designed specifically for auto
dealerships, has been installed at approximately 25 Mitsubishi Motors
locations and is expected to be adopted by up to 400 more.
The Advantage Database Server is a scalable, seamless, high-performance
DBMS that brings client/server benefits to mobile, networked and Internet
networked database applications. Advantage processes data on the file server
where the data is stored. This decreases network traffic and increases
multi-user performance. Cyberlogic's DataVision sales floor automation
software relies on the Advantage Database Server to provide fast, reliable
client/server database access while eliminating the need to have a full-time
database administrator at every dealership.
