Metalsa
    Metalsa specializes in manufacturing pickup and truck chassis frames, side rails, fuel systems, suspension systems and upper body structural components at its facilities in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon and San Luis Potosi in Central Mexico.
    Metalsa, Tiainepantla, Mexico, is entering the new millennium with an industry-leading strategic partner, Tower Automotive, and has introduced to the mexican automotive industry high product and process technologies, such as hydroforming. Perfek
    Perfek, makers of stamping, assembly and inspection tools and fixtures for automotive parts such as chassis' and structural components, in partnership with the Japanese companies Miyazu Seisakusho, one of the world's leading toolmakers, and the Sumitomo Corporation, will exhibit its products at the 1999 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Congress and Exhibition in Detroit.

Prolvay
    Prolvay is a leading producer of plastic fuel systems in Mexico. In 1991 Prolvay formed a partnership with Solvay, a major Belgian manufacturer of plastic fuel systems. Prolvay will exhibit its products at the 1999 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Congress and Exhibition in Detroit.

Condumex
    Condumex, with U.S. offices in Arlington, Texas, is a diversified corporation dedicated to the design and manufacture of automotive components for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and the automotive aftermarket. Process capabilities include engineering and rapid prototype support, Key-Core systems, CAD/CAM tooling construction, machining, and painting. Ditemsa, an affiliated division, provides technical support by designing and building complex foundry tooling for complete product sourcing requirements. Castech
    Castech, an independent manufacturer of aluminum blocks and heads for the automotive industry, was created by a joint venture between Cifunsa and VAW motor group. Castech will exhibit its products at the 1999 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Congress and Exhibition in Detroit. Cifunsa and Castech are the world's largest independent foundries for blocks and heads in aluminum or iron. Castech can provide low and high pressure gravity die, semi-permanent mold and core package technologies. A new high volume facility will be operational in Northern Mexico by mid 1999.

The Economic Development Association of the State of Chihuahua
    The Economic Development Association of the State of Chihuahua will highlight its region at the 1999 Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Congress and Exhibition in Detroit. The Association is a non-profit organization created and sponsored by Chihuahua's business community. It includes a group of experts in various areas to assist businesses interested in relocating to Chihuahua. It helps foreign investors locate the right site and supports them through the entire process from start-up to launching the manufacturing operation.
