SDRC Organizes for Growth Market Opportunities; Organization Aimed At Advancing SDRC to Global Leadership Position in Providing Enterprise Product Development Solutions
CINCINNATI--Feb. 22, 1999--SDRC , a leading provider of enterprise product development solutions worldwide, today announced organizational changes aimed at strengthening the overall corporation for growth acceleration into the year 2000."SDRC is extremely well positioned for expansion, and we plan to accelerate that growth in 1999 and beyond by capitalizing on the company's reputation for best-in-class products and consulting services," said Bill Weyand, chairman, president, and CEO of SDRC. "Strong emphasis will be placed on vertical market opportunities. The organizational changes being implemented will facilitate these growth plans and our goal of becoming the global leader in providing Enterprise Product Development Solutions."
Specifically, SDRC's Corporate Marketing will focus on targeted industry segments and the specific application sets that are critical within these industries. SDRC's Products Group has been restructured into product-oriented business units. Each of these units is tasked with developing and delivering on goals that help meet the overall strategic objectives and strong industry-driven priorities of the corporation. The two groups will work closely together in optimizing SDRC's products to meet the requirements of the market.
