Invest in France Automotive Awards Recognize Two Automotive Firms
    CHICAGO, Feb. 22 -- Oxford Automotive and Dana Corporation
will receive the Invest in France Automotive Award during a reception to be
held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2nd, 1999 in the Olympia Room of the
Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
    Bernard Yvetot, Special Representative for International Investment,
Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industry, will bestow the awards.  The
trophies are two crystal automotive designed as a limited edition by Compagnie
Francaise du Cristal Daum, the world renowned glasswork manufacturer that has
been operating in Lorraine since 1875.
    The Invest in France Automotive Award has been presented during the
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International Congress and Exposition in
Detroit for the past three years to North American automotive suppliers that
have made a strong commitment to the French automotive industry.  Past
recipients have included:

    In 1996:  Borg Warner Automotive, Delphi, Donnelly, Ford and Gates Rubber;
    In 1997:  Eaton, Ogura, Rockwell International and TRW;
    In 1998:  ITT Automotive, Standard Products and Tenneco Automotive.

    Since bestowing the Invest in France Award for the first time in 1994, IFA
has recognized a total of 36 American corporations in various industries with
this honor.
    With five offices in the U.S. and two in Canada, the Invest in France
Agency (IFA) assists companies in the creation or expansion of their
operations in France.  IFA's team of engineers and investment specialists
provides executives with regulatory information, site selection studies,
assistance in identifying potential partners, as well as access to financial
and fiscal incentives.  All services are free of charge and provided in full

    The following will receive the awards for their respective companies:

    -- Gus Franklin, President - Dana International.
       Dana Corporation employs over 2500 people in France and operates
       thirteen manufacturing operations in France.

    -- Selwyn Isakow, Chairman - Oxford Automotive.
       Oxford Automotive recently completed the acquisition of COFIMETA, the
       3rd largest stamping and metal forming company in France, with
       annualized sales of about $200M.  Cofimeta maintains five manufacturing
       plants employing about 1600 employees.
