Chevy Chase Hits the Road Again in New Dollar Rent A Car Commercial

    TULSA, Okla., Feb. 18 -- Dollar Rent A Car will premier its
new commercial with renowned actor and comedian Chevy Chase on February 21.
    The "Saturday Night Live" veteran and star of more than 20 motion
pictures, including several "National Lampoon's Vacation" movies, is featured
in the DOLLAR(R) commercial.
    The 30-second spot will feature Chase in a vacation scenario that depends
on Dollar's express services to help him catch his flight.  Of course, in his
classic comedic style, Chase's character creates chaos wherever he goes.
    "We have received great feedback from new and existing customers when we
launched the advertising campaign two years ago," Fred Fleischner, Vice
President of Marketing and Sales, said.  "We're excited about the
entertainment value in this new commercial and think the viewers will be more
aware of the DOLLAR brand as well as enjoy the antics of Chevy Chase."
    The DOLLAR spots will air during "60 Minutes" on CBS and "Dateline"
on NBC.
    Chase earned national prominence as a writer and performer with the
original cast of NBC's "Saturday Night Live," for which he won two Emmy
Awards.
