Collision Craftsman and CCC Sign Contract for Pathways(R) Enterprise Solution
Michigan-Based Repairer Executes Partnership Agreement for CCC to Deliver
Advanced Enterprise-Wide Collision Repair Management Technology

CHICAGO, Feb. 17 -- CCC Information Services Inc.
, the leading provider of solutions to the automotive claims
industry, and Collision Craftsmen, Inc., a Michigan-based collision repair
operator, announced the execution of a long-term partnership agreement for CCC
to deliver their Pathways(R) Enterprise Solution to all of Collision
Craftsmen's seven Michigan locations.
Pathways Enterprise Solution is designed to automate all aspects of
large-scale collision repair businesses in a completely integrated system that
leverages the capabilities of the Internet as well as Windows(TM) NT.
Developed by Kirmac Information Technologies, Inc., and delivered to the
North American Market by CCC, the system utilizes the most current Microsoft
development tools and applies workflow design principles. Collision Craftsmen
plans to complete installations in all of its seven collision repair locations
by the third quarter of 1999.
"We found CCC's Pathways Enterprise Solution to be an invaluable
management tool that will ensure a uniform corporate image and consistency
across all of our locations," said Marco Grossi, president of Collision
Craftsmen. "With this solution, we'll be able to better serve our customers
since -- no matter which location a customer visits -- our employees will be
following the same standardized operational procedures every time and will be
able to provide immediate access to the status of any job. What's more, the
system enhances production efficiencies to help us deliver quality repairs on
time."
Grossi added, "Our business plan calls for us to add at least two stores a
year. It is a comfort to know that CCC's system will be able to grow with
us."
"Marco Grossi has been a real innovator in this business for many years,
continually seeking new avenues to increase operational efficiencies and
bottom line profits," said Jack Rozint, Senior Vice President for CCC.
"Collision Craftsmen joins other industry leaders, such as Chapparone Autobody
and Gerber Auto Collision Centers, who are committed to solving the business
challenges unique to multiple-location operations that are managed centrally."
Founded in 1988, Collision Craftsmen operates stores in Macomb Township,
Detroit, Roseville, Dearborn, Southfield and Warren. The company offers
full-service collision and theft repair on all makes and models of cars and
trucks, and services more than 550 vehicles a month. Collision Craftsmen is
currently celebrating its 11th year serving the Michigan market.
