Michigan Rivet Corporation Announces Results of Operations for First Quarter Ended January 31, 1999

    WARREN, Mich., Feb. 17 -- Michigan Rivet Corporation
announced its results of operations for the first quarter ended January 31,
1999.
    Sales for the quarter ended January 31, 1999 were $10,655,000, up 2.0%
from the same quarter in 1998.  Net income was $419,000 or $.66 per share as
compared to a net income of $.58 per share in the comparable period a year
ago.
