Latest Testing Shows Promise for International Fuel Technology's PEERDIESEL

LAS VEGAS--Feb. 16, 1999--Extensive testing of International Fuel Technology's (OTC BB:IFUE) PEERDIESEL(tm) (Performance Enhanced Emission Reduced) reformulated fuel continues at the California Environmental Engineering (CEE) facility, the only independent mobile emissions laboratory in Southern California that is both EPA recognized and California Air Resources Board (CARB) certified.
"The results of testing in a controlled environment continue to show significant, repeatable and meaningful reductions in exhaust emissions and diesel particulates," said George Gemayel, president of CEE.
"Currently, CEE is interfacing with both the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and CARB in support of the PEERDIESEL(tm) product as a viable reformulated diesel fuel for lowering both emission levels and particulates."
The testing is on three types of diesel engines representative of the majority of heavy-duty diesels in use today. Diesel particulate was officially declared as a toxic pollutant by CARB on Aug. 27, 1998.
Continuing efforts with SCAQMD/CARB are aimed at acquiring funding from the "Carl Moyer Air Quality Standard Attainment Program" for a controlled-use study of PEERDIESEL(tm) with two large Southern California supermarket chains.
The extensive proven results from PEERDIESEL's(tm) testing at CEE in a controlled environment and the forthcoming operational testing will provide the valuable data for acquiring recognition and certification of PEERDIESEL(tm).
Las Vegas-based International Fuel Technology is currently traded on OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol IFUE. For more information on International Fuel Technology, call 702/873-5552 or visit its Web site at www.peerfuel.com.
