Accu-Tech Industries Celebrates With Unique Grand Opening
MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich., Feb. 15 -- Detroit Lions Quarterback
Charlie Batch and Macomb Township Supervisor John D. Brennan will be on hand
Wednesday, February 17 at 5 p.m. to assist in a ribbon-cutting ceremony
celebrating the grand opening of Accu-Tech Industries' newest facility.
The event celebrates the continued growth and local area expansion of this
award-winning manufacturer. After sixteen years of successful operation,
Accu-Tech has expanded operations to include design and engineering
capabilities and has moved into a new 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art
industrial facility.
Celebrities and guests attending this unique grand opening will have the
opportunity to compete in the "Accu-Tech Open Invitational Golf Tournament"
where nine miniature golf holes will be strategically placed throughout the
facility to highlight the company's services and capabilities. Special prizes
will be given away throughout the day.
"We are a unique company and we wanted to celebrate our grand opening with
a unique event," explained Alan Praet, President of Accu-Tech. "My brothers
and I operate as a team, so we wanted a sports-related theme to unveil our new
facility."
Accu-Tech is equally owned and operated by the five Praet brothers --
Alan, Gary, Glenn, Denis and Randy. As business partners, these five brothers
each bring to the company their own expertise within the manufacturing
industry.
"It's very difficult for some people to understand, but we're brothers and
therefore feel united as teammates," said Alan, who is the second of five
brothers.
The brothers have put together a solid business foundation based on trust
in each other, a team of excellent employees and a continued desire to become
a world-class organization.
"Each brother has certain responsibilities, and it all works well with
each of us concentrating on his own area of expertise," said Denis Praet.
Accu-Tech Industries is a full-service quality supplier of precision
components, fixtures, tooling and machinery to the automotive, medical and
heavy equipment industries.
Some of Accu-Tech's major customers include DaimlerChrysler, Progressive
Tool (Pico), GM Delphi, Comau North America, Utica Enterprises and GM Tech
Center.
