Ronald L. Moore Named Vice President and General Manager - India for Cummins Engine Co., Inc.

    COLUMBUS, Indiana--Feb. 12, 1999--Ronald L. Moore has been named vice president and general manager - India for Cummins Engine Co., Inc., a major worldwide producer of diesel engines. Moore will be responsible for leading Cummins' business operations and joint ventures in India.
    Moore joined Cummins' subsidiary Onan Corporation in 1985 as materials manager at Onan's Huntsville, Alabama, plant, becoming plant manager in 1987. In 1991, he became the first plant manager at Cummins' Columbus Midrange Engine Plant in Walesboro, Indiana. He became managing director of Tata Cummins Ltd. in 1993, and has most recently served as area business manager - India, and chairman and managing director - Cummins India Ltd. and Cummins Diesel Sales and Services, Ltd.
    Prior to joining Cummins, Moore worked for the Hyster Company and GTE. He holds B.S. degrees in Industrial Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Alabama, and an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois.
    Cummins, headquartered in Columbus, Ind., is the world's largest producer of diesel engines above 200 horsepower.
