Dana Corporation Hosts Minority Business Supplier Meeting

    TOLEDO, Ohio, Feb. 11 -- Dana Corporation has
expanded its efforts to identify and utilize minority business suppliers by
hosting a Project O.N.E. meeting at the company's world headquarters on
Feb. 10, 1999.  The company heard presentations from minority businesses the
company will mentor through Project O.N.E.
    Project O.N.E., a pilot program sponsored by the Michigan Minority
Business Development Council (MMBDC), is designed to enhance minority business
development activities of corporate members of MMBDC.  This project has been
developed in conjunction with Ford Motor Company and Johnson Controls, Inc.
    Dana Corporation will mentor Cyntell Tool Company, owned by Kenneth Jones,
and Trillium Teamologies, Inc., a multimedia company, owned by Forest Farmer.
    "We are able to gain a competitive advantage through the innovation of
minority suppliers," said Bill Carroll, president, Automotive Systems Group,
for Dana Corporation.
    "By supporting minority purchasing, we are strengthening our position in a
global marketplace by embracing the new and innovative viewpoints these
businesses bring to the table."  Carroll is also a member of the board of
directors of the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
