Gleason Sets Annual Stockholders Meeting Date

    ROCHESTER, N.Y.--Feb. 10, 1999--Gleason Corporation's (NYSE - GLE) board of directors today set the company's 1999 annual meeting date for Tue., May 4, 1999, at 10:00 a.m. at the main offices of the company in Rochester, N.Y., for the purposes of electing directors, and appointing independent auditors.
    Stockholders of record as of March 11, 1999 will be entitled to vote at the meeting.
