    STUTTGART, Germany and AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 10 -- The
first DaimlerChrysler Annual General Meeting will be held on
May 18, 1999.  The shareholders meeting will be held in Stuttgart at the
"Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle" (Convention Center) and will start at 10 a.m.
CET (Central European Time).
