Hyundai Motor Company Adopts EAI's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Product Visualization and Digital Prototyping

Hyundai to Use EAI's VisProducts(R) to Integrate Worldwide Resources, Shorten
                   Product Cycle Times and Improve Quality

    AMES, Iowa, Feb. 10 -- Engineering Animation, Inc.
, today announced that Hyundai Motor Company will adopt EAI's
VisProducts for enterprise-wide product visualization and digital prototyping.
EAI's VisProducts solutions will be deployed throughout Hyundai, with initial
applications in Hyundai's Commercial Vehicle Research and Development Center
and Passenger Vehicle Design Division and Research and Development Center.
Hyundai selected EAI's solutions based on VisProducts' demonstrated advantages
for enterprise-wide product visualization, collaboration and digital mockup
capabilities as well as its seamless integration with Hyundai's computer-aided
design (CAD) and product data management (PDM) systems.
    VisProducts will serve as a visual front-end to digital product data by
integrating with Hyundai's proprietary PDM system as well as CATIA(R) from
Dassault Systemes and ProENGINEER(R) from Parametric
Technology Corporation , the company's CAD systems.  Tight
integration with Hyundai's CAD and PDM systems will provide the company with a
powerful capability to share and analyze product parts and data, thus enabling
the company to dramatically cut development time and costs and reduce product
defects.

are now able to visualize a full vehicle assembly, no matter where or on what
system the data resides.  In addition to gaining the ability to perform full
digital analysis on entire vehicles, Hyundai selected EAI's solutions based on
its CAD and hardware platform independence as well as its ability to easily
integrate with our PDM system."
