Oxford Automotive, Inc. Appoints Chief Financial Officer
    TROY, Mich., Feb. 8 -- Oxford Automotive, Inc. today
announced the appointment of Aurelian Bukatko to the position of Senior Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer of this Tier 1 OEM supplier.  This
announcement was made by Selwyn Isakow, Chairman of Oxford Automotive, Inc.
    As a member of the executive team, Bukatko will be responsible for all
corporate financial functions including treasury and financial reporting as
well as building a European financial function, working closely with the
Oxford Automotive Board of Directors.
    "As Oxford Automotive has expanded globally through acquisitions and
internal growth, our financial management needs have also greatly evolved,"
said Isakow.  "With the prospect of an initial public offering (IPO) within
the next 24 months, we realized the need to bring on a unique individual who
is well versed in both automotive supply operations on a worldwide basis as
well as someone who has extensive experience in managing treasury issues.
Aurelian Bukatko brings us this combination."
    Prior to this appointment, Bukatko was Corporate Treasurer of
Hayes-Lemmerz International, a worldwide manufacturer of steel and aluminum
wheels, brake drums and rotors for motor vehicle manufacturers in North
America, Europe and Asia.  He also served as Director of Global Currency
Management for the Lear Corporation, where he also previously was the
Treasurer and Financial Director, International for Lear Seating in
Gustavsburg, Germany.  At both companies, Bukatko was intimately involved in
the areas of corporate financing, foreign currency management, cash
management, banking and bank relations on a global basis.
    Bukatko is replacing Donald Campion who for personal reasons has decided
to pursue other interests.  "Don was a member of Oxford's management team for
the past 16 months and his contributions are significant," said Steven

endeavors and appreciate the contributions he made in helping Oxford
Automotive to become a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier."
