Reynolds and Reynolds Offers Calling Card Promotions for Auto Retailers

    DAYTON, Ohio--Feb. 6, 1999--

Program Resulting From Business Relationship With MCI WorldCom
Extends Service, Sales and Promotional Incentives to Car Buyers

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company today announced the extension of its automotive marketing services with the introduction of their prepaid calling card program. Calling Card Promotions was unveiled at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Annual Convention in San Francisco.
Calling Card Promotions, which is a result of the business relationship between Reynolds and MCI WorldCom, a global communications company, is a multi-faceted service that can be utilized in every part of the retail environment.
"Our calling card programs provide organizations with a highly effective consumer marketing strategy at a nominal cost," said Kurt Lieberman, group vice president of Reynolds' New Solutions Group. "These programs let auto retailers refresh their sales and marketing efforts with a full array of merchandising solutions."
Reynolds' Calling Card Promotions provides a series of marketing campaigns using customized or standard prepaid calling cards. The programs include:
-- 1-800-DRIVE ME - Focuses on attracting new customers by rewarding
minutes for test driving new models.
-- Consumer Rewards - A calling card key chain presented to a
customer as a thank-you for visiting the dealership with an
opportunity to receive 1000 free minutes if they return and
     purchase a vehicle.
-- Passport Minutes - Retention program giving customers free
     minutes for using dealership services.
-- Motivation Plus - A program designed for rewarding top employees
     throughout the dealership.
-- Pocket Billboard - Business cards printed on a prepaid calling
     card.

Calling Card Promotions is the automotive industry's first packaged custom prepaid calling card marketing solution, according to Lieberman. "Auto retailers need maximized results from their advertising budgets. Reynolds' Calling Card Promotions help organizations get more for their ad dollar while retaining customers, motivating employees and increasing dealership traffic.
"These are high-impact programs that can be used in new car promotions, customer incentives, and building dealer and brand recognition," said Lieberman. "The only limit to the calling cards' merchandising power is the retailer's imagination."
