Automotive Performance Group, Inc. Announces the Resignation of Board Member Andrew L. Evans


    Tempe, Ariz.--Feb. 3, 1999--AUTOMOTIVE PERFORMANCE GROUP, INC. (OTC BB:RACG), a full service owner and operator of high performance automotive businesses and brands, has accepted the resignation of Andrew L. Evans from the APG Board of Directors.
    Mr. Evans, who served in various capacities including Chairman of the Board and CEO of APG has resigned from APG’s Board of Directors to focus on his other business interests.
    Automotive Performance Group, Inc. is a full service owner and operator of high performance automotive businesses including Royal Purple Motor Oil, which produces synthetic oil and chemical products favored by many racing teams and manufacturers, and Klein Engines and Competition Components, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high performance engines.
