Automotive Performance Group, Inc. Announces Sale of Team Scandia
TEMPE, Az.--Feb. 5, 1999--Automotive Performance Group, Inc. (OTC BB:RACG), a full service owner and operator of high performance automotive businesses and brands, announced today that it has completed the sale of its Team Scandia racing team. Terms were not disclosed.Dean M. Willard, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of APG stated, "The sale of Team Scandia concludes APG's plan to terminate its direct involvement in auto racing. The company's planned focus on specialty chemicals and branded products for the automotive aftermarket is expected to result in dramatically improved revenue growth and earnings."
