Chrysler Canada Announces New President and C.E.O.
    WINDSOR, ON, Feb. 4 /CNW-PRN/ - Mr. James P. Holden, Chairman of the Board
of Directors of Chrysler Canada Ltd., is pleased to announce that the Board of
Directors of Chrysler Canada Ltd. has appointed Edwin H. Brust, President,
Chief Executive Officer, and has elected him a Director of Chrysler Canada
Ltd., effective February 1, 1999.
    In this position Mr. Brust succeeds the late William C. Glaub, who served
as President and Chief Executive Officer from April until his untimely death
in November, 1998.
    Mr. Brust brings with him extensive experience within a number of sectors
with the company since joining Chrysler Corporation in 1984 as Manager of
Advanced Product Programs and Strategy. Until his current appointment, Ed
Brust held the position of Vice President - Latin America, Mid-East & Africa.
    Mr. Brust, aged 55, is a native of Detroit. He holds Masters degrees in
Engineering and Finance from Wayne State University.
