TCIC and Garff Form Enterprise in National Automotive Website
    ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 3 -- TCI Media Services, a division of
TCI Communications, Inc., (TCIC), the cable television systems arm of
Tele-Communications, Inc. (TCI), and Garff Enterprises, Inc. announced today
the formation of a new enterprise involving the national automotive website offers consumers the ability to search car inventories,
apply for credit, sell their own car and complete a variety of other Internet
transactions.  For the past year, TCI Media Services has offered this Internet
product as part of an automotive dealer advertising package in selected TCI
markets.  TCI Media Services joined the new enterprise as a minority owner
through a cash contribution and will assume sales responsibility for the
national automotive website that offers consumers new and used local car
dealer information.

    TCI Media Services will offer the program to local car
dealerships in all TCI markets beginning this year.  It will also be made
available to other cable operators and media partners. and TCI Media Services will showcase their Internet
product at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) show in San
Francisco on February 6th - 9th.
