computing needs of automotive retailers.
Advanta uses the power of desktop PCs, in conjunction with the industry's
most powerful server, to deliver robust applications offering unprecedented
ease of use. EDS will showcase the new offering to automotive retailers at
NADA 1999, February 6-9, in San Francisco, California. Advanta is fully
integrated with all of EDS' powerful product offerings, including Executive
Assistant, EZforms(TM), Parts Imager2(R), Scheduling and Dispatching System,
SalesLink(TM), Vehicle Inventory Navigator, and full-featured GM and
DaimlerChrysler factory-to-dealer communications.
"EDS has expended substantial time, effort, and financial resources to
bring Advanta to automotive retailers nationwide. The Automotive Retail Group
is committed to listening to our clients and prospects, and in doing so we
have developed Advanta to meet the needs of dealerships of all sizes. Dealers
who have previewed Advanta have been impressed by its graphical user
interface, web-browser look and feel, and overall intuitiveness. Automotive
retailers looking to experience a difference not only in the system they use,
but the company they work with, owe it to themselves to think of EDS when
evaluating their next Dealer Management System," said Linda Judd, EDS
