Twin Disc, Inc., Completes Acquisition of Technodrive S.p.A.

    RACINE, Wis.--Feb. 2, 1999--Twin Disc, Inc., today reported that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Technodrive S.p.A. of Decima, Italy.
    Technodrive, which has annualized revenues of $11 million, designs, manufactures and markets marine transmissions, pump mount power take-offs, power take-offs, clutches and hydraulic adapters serving the marine and industrial markets. The Company operates facilities in Decima, Italy, and Chambery, France.
    Twin Disc is a manufacturer of heavy-duty power transmission equipment and electronic control systems used in marine, industrial, agricultural, off-highway specialty vehicles, government and construction equipment markets.
