This highly regarded, recently retired, DaimlerChrysler executive brings a
wealth of automotive manufacturing experience to Oxford Automotive. His
achievements in manufacturing throughout North America, his involvement in
worldwide joint ventures, and his vast expertise and success in managing
company labor relations dramatically enhances the company.
"Dennis Pawley is a tremendously accomplished individual," said Selwyn
Isakow, Chairman of Oxford Automotive, Inc. "When you combine his 35 years of
experience with his unique industry background in working with automotive
manufacturers like DaimlerChrysler, General Motors and Mazda you can
appreciate why we feel so fortunate in having a man of his vision join our
team."
Dennis Pawley's career accomplishments parallel Oxford Automotive's
direction and commitment to the globalization, teamed-workforce and technology
that drive the automotive industry today. As the co-chairman of
DaimlerChrysler, Robert J. Eaton said, "He's the ultimate manufacturing
leader. His ability to lead change is unparalleled in today's manufacturing
environment. His operating system has solidly taken hold in the
DaimlerChrysler competitive manufacturing environment. In addition, his
progressive relationship with the UAW and CAW was visionary in its honesty and
integrity."
Oxford Automotive has experienced dramatic growth over the past 18 months
as it continues to ramp up to meet the increased global needs of the
automotive manufacturers. "I am delighted to be part of a company that is
quickly becoming the leader in supplying integrated systems to OEMs world
wide," said Pawley. "My background should enable me to make immediate
contributions to Oxford Automotive's Board and its talented management team."
