MTD Automotive Celebrates Production of 25th Million Oil PanCLEVELAND, Jan. 28 -- MTD Automotive and Ford Motor Company recognized the production of their 25th million oil pan with a celebration at MTD Automotive's Liverpool, Ohio plant. A group of Ford Motor Company employees from the Quality Manufacturing and Purchasing (QMP) Building in Detroit, Michigan visited the MTD Automotive Liverpool Plant to participate in the ceremonies hosted by Dave Sterry, general manager of the Liverpool Plant. Also present at the celebration were MTD Automotive key suppliers: LTV Steel, PPG Industries, Inc. and American Chemical. MTD Automotive executives including Jim Jacobs, director of sales and mid-marketing; Dennis Docherty, senior vice president of operations; David Colburn, president; and Curtis Moll, CEO of MTD Products, Inc. gave presentations. Jim Jacobs presented Bev McDonald, Ford Motor Company buyer, with an oil pan lamp in honor of the occasion. David Colburn presented Dave LaChance, United Auto Workers (UAW) local president, with a plaque commemorating the event and recognizing the work done by the MTD Automotive employees at the Liverpool plant.
