The Lathrop Company, Subsidiary of Turner Construction Company to Open Detroit Office in Early February 1999Maumee, Ohio-Based Lathrop Seeks To Better Serve Automotive and Industrial Clients in Greater Detroit And Southeast Michigan Areas DETROIT, Jan. 28 -- The Lathrop Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Turner Construction Company, is opening a Detroit office in early February 1999. Turner Construction Company is the principal subsidiary of The Turner Corporation , the nation's leading general builder. Based in Maumee, Ohio, a suburb of Toledo, The Lathrop Company is a leading provider of automotive and industrial contracting services in the Midwest. These services include design/build, construction management, program management, and general contracting.
